Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 cup green beans chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. In a bowl mix cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  6. Layer sliced potatoes, carrots, onion, and green beans in the baking dish.
  7. Spread the cooked ground beef evenly over the vegetables.
  8. Pour the soup mixture over the casserole.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
  11. Bake for another 10–15 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the cheese is melted.
  12. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Sweet potatoes can replace regular potatoes for a fall-inspired twist.
  • Add corn or peas for extra color and flavor.
  • Use ground turkey instead of beef for a lighter version.
  • Serve with fresh bread or a side salad.
