Avocado Mozzarella Tomato Grilled Cheese

This avocado mozzarella tomato grilled cheese is crispy on the outside and perfectly melty inside. Creamy avocado, fresh tomato, and gooey mozzarella create a rich and flavorful sandwich. It’s a quick, satisfying meal that feels both comforting and fresh.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 ripe avocado sliced
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
  4. Layer mozzarella cheese, avocado slices, and tomato slices on the bread.
  5. Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper over the filling.
  6. Top with the remaining bread slices butter-side up.
  7. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the bottom turns golden and crispy.
  8. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook another 3–4 minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use sourdough or artisan bread for extra flavor.
  • Add fresh basil leaves for a caprese-style twist.
  • Cook on medium heat so the cheese melts without burning the bread.
  • Serve with tomato soup for a classic combo.
