Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until set and lightly golden
- Let cool completely before slicing
Notes
- Do not overmix for a soft texture
- Use very ripe bananas for best flavor
- Add nuts for extra crunch
- Slightly underbake for fudgier blondies
