Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Scoop dough onto baking tray
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden
- Let cool before serving
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness
- Do not overbake to keep cookies soft
- Add nuts for extra texture
- Chill dough for thicker cookies (optional)
- Store in an airtight container
