Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into loaf pan
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool before slicing and serving
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for best sweetness
- Do not overmix to keep the loaf soft
- Add nuts for extra texture
- Store in an airtight container for freshness
- Can be frozen for later use
