Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into baking dish and spread evenly
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden and set
- Let cool slightly, then slice and serve
Notes
- Do not overmix batter to keep it fluffy
- Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness
- Add nuts for extra crunch
- Serve with maple syrup or honey
- Best enjoyed warm
