Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until just combined
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Pour batter into baking dish and spread evenly
  7. Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden and set
  8. Let cool slightly, then slice and serve

Notes

  • Do not overmix batter to keep it fluffy
  • Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness
  • Add nuts for extra crunch
  • Serve with maple syrup or honey
  • Best enjoyed warm
