Ingredients
  

  • 4 flatbreads or naan
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook onions on low heat until caramelized
  3. In a bowl, mix chicken with BBQ sauce
  4. Place flatbreads on a baking tray
  5. Spread BBQ chicken evenly over each flatbread
  6. Top with caramelized onions and shredded cheese
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and edges are crispy
  8. Remove, slice, and serve warm

Notes

  • Cook onions slowly for the best caramelization
  • Use smoked BBQ sauce for a deeper flavor
  • Add jalapeños for a spicy kick
  • Serve immediately for crispy texture
