These Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket are fun, quick, and perfect for busy mornings or weekend brunch. Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 12 mini sausages
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • Sesame seeds or herbs optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray.
  2. Roll out crescent dough and cut into small triangles.
  3. Place a mini sausage on each triangle and roll up tightly.
  4. In a bowl, whisk egg and milk for egg wash.
  5. Brush each roll lightly with egg wash.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds or herbs if desired.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use puff pastry for a flakier texture.
  • Add cheese before rolling for extra flavor.
  • Serve with ketchup or mustard for dipping.
  • Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
