Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs separated
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F) and line a baking tray
  2. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form
  3. In another bowl, mix egg yolks, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and salt
  4. Gently fold egg whites into yolk mixture
  5. Spoon mixture onto tray into bread-sized rounds
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set
  7. Let cool before serving

Notes

  • Fold gently to keep the bread airy
  • Use softened cream cheese for a smooth texture
  • Do not overbake to keep it soft
  • Store in fridge for later use
  • Great for sandwiches or snacks
