Cinnamon Roll Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar for swirl
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter softened, for swirl
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1 –2 tbsp milk for glaze

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tray.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter.
  6. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter.
  7. Add a spoon of cinnamon mixture, then top with more batter.
  8. Swirl gently with a toothpick.
  9. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk, then drizzle over cooled muffins.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the batter for a soft texture.
  • Adjust cinnamon level to taste.
  • Add cream cheese glaze for extra richness.
  • Best enjoyed warm for gooey swirl texture.
