Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies crushed into fine crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Nutella plus extra for filling
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips melted
  • 2 tablespoons crushed Oreos for topping

Method

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into very fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Beat cream cheese, Nutella, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Flatten a spoonful of Oreo mixture in your palm.
  5. Add a small spoonful of Nutella filling in the center.
  6. Wrap the Oreo mixture around the filling and roll into a small bite-sized ball.
  7. Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray.
  8. Chill in the freezer for 10–15 minutes until firm.
  9. Dip or drizzle each bite with melted chocolate.
  10. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top before the chocolate sets.
  11. Let the chocolate coating firm up before serving.

Notes

  • Freeze small Nutella drops first if you want an easier lava-style center.
  • Keep the bites chilled while shaping, so they hold their form.
  • Use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet for a richer taste.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for the best texture.
