Ingredients
  

  • 24 Oreo cookies crushed into fine crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter for topping
  • 2 tablespoons crushed Oreos for garnish

Method
 

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into very fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined baking dish to form the base layer.
  4. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the Oreo base.
  6. Melt chocolate chips with 2 tablespoons peanut butter until smooth and glossy.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer.
  8. Spread evenly with a spatula.
  9. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.
  10. Refrigerate the bars for at least 1 hour until fully set.
  11. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter for the smoothest texture.
  • Line the pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • Chill longer if the bars feel too soft when cutting.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Add chopped peanuts on top for extra crunch.
