Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until set in the center
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor
- Add walnuts for extra crunch
- Chill before slicing for clean cuts
