Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking pan
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and mix until just combined
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until set in the center
  8. Let cool completely before cutting into squares

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy
  • Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor
  • Add walnuts for extra crunch
  • Chill before slicing for clean cuts
  • Store in an airtight container for freshness
