Ingredients
  

  • 500 g boneless chicken cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with cornstarch.
  2. Heat oil and fry chicken until golden and crispy, then set aside.
  3. In a pan, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and chili flakes.
  5. Simmer sauce for 2–3 minutes until slightly thick.
  6. Add fried chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil and mix well.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  9. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Fry in batches to keep the chicken crispy.
  • Adjust sweetness or spice to your taste.
  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
  • Serve immediately for maximum crunch.
