Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray.
  2. In a bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until dough forms.
  6. Fold in raisins evenly.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking tray, spacing cookies apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Soak raisins in warm water for extra softness.
  • Do not overbake to keep cookies chewy.
  • Add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
  • Store in an airtight container for freshness.
