Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup or honey
  • 4 cups cornflakes cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, heat peanut butter, sugar, and corn syrup over low heat
  2. Stir constantly until smooth and fully combined
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt
  4. Add cornflakes and gently fold until evenly coated
  5. Press mixture into a lined or greased pan
  6. Smooth the top with a spatula
  7. Let it set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm
  8. Cut into bars and serve

Notes

  • Don’t overheat the mixture to keep bars soft
  • Press gently to avoid crushing cornflakes
  • Add a chocolate drizzle for extra flavor
  • Store in an airtight container
