Easy Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownies

These salted caramel pretzel brownies are the perfect sweet and salty dessert. Rich fudgy brownies get topped with crunchy pretzels and a gooey caramel drizzle. Every bite delivers chocolatey decadence with a satisfying salty crunch.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crushed pretzels
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ tsp flaky sea salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Mix until a thick batter forms.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Sprinkle crushed pretzels over the batter.
  9. Bake for 22–25 minutes until the brownies are set.
  10. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt before serving.

Notes

  • Use thick caramel sauce so it stays on top of the brownies.
  • Do not overbake to keep the brownies fudgy.
  • Add chopped nuts for extra texture if desired.
  • Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
