Ingredients
  

  • 250 g pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook briefly.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and mix well.
  6. Add parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and basil.
  7. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Add cooked pasta and toss until well coated.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes for better flavor.
  • Reserve some pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
  • Add chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
  • Serve immediately for the creamiest texture.
