Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar for swirl
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp melted butter for swirl
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1 –2 tbsp milk for glaze

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth batter forms.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  5. Heat a pan and pour batter to form pancakes.
  6. Pipe or drizzle cinnamon mixture in a swirl pattern.
  7. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side.
  8. Mix powdered sugar and milk to make glaze.
  9. Drizzle glaze over pancakes and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook on medium heat to avoid burning the swirl.
  • Do not overmix the batter for fluffy pancakes.
  • Adjust glaze thickness to preference.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture.
