Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
- Cook ground beef in a pan until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in French onion soup mix and beef broth.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add cooked noodles and beef mixture, then mix well.
- Transfer mixture to the baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Add crispy fried onions over the cheese layer.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use Swiss cheese for a more authentic flavor.
- Do not overbake to keep it creamy.
- Add mushrooms for extra depth.
