Heavenly Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

These Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are soft, moist, and loaded with rich chocolate chips. Made with ripe bananas, they’re naturally sweet, fluffy, and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tray
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until combined
  5. Fold in chocolate chips
  6. Divide batter into muffin cups
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
  8. Let cool before serving

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for the best sweetness
  • Do not overmix batter to keep the muffins soft
  • Add nuts for extra crunch
  • Store in an airtight container for freshness
  • Great for breakfast or snacks
