Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tray
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Divide batter into muffin cups
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool before serving
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for the best sweetness
- Do not overmix batter to keep the muffins soft
- Add nuts for extra crunch
