Hoisin Beef Noodles Recipe

These hoisin beef noodles are savory, slightly sweet, and packed with bold Asian-inspired flavor. Tender beef strips cook with garlic, vegetables, and noodles in a rich hoisin sauce. It’s a quick, satisfying meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz noodles lo mein or spaghetti
  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned.
  4. Add minced garlic, bell peppers, and carrots.
  5. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until vegetables begin to soften.
  6. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper.
  7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet.
  8. Toss everything together until the noodles are fully coated with sauce.
  9. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Use flank steak or sirloin for tender beef slices.
  • Add mushrooms or broccoli for extra vegetables.
  • Adjust hoisin sauce to control sweetness.
  • Serve immediately while hot for the best texture.
