Ingredients
  

  • 200 g chow mein noodles boiled and drained
  • 2 cups cooked chicken strips
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp chili sauce optional
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup cabbage sliced
  • 1/2 cup carrots thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup capsicum sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp spring onions

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a wok over high heat
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant
  3. Add onions and cook briefly
  4. Add chicken and stir-fry until heated through
  5. Add cabbage, carrots, and capsicum and cook on high heat
  6. Add noodles and toss well
  7. Pour in soy sauces, oyster sauce, and chili sauce
  8. Mix until everything is evenly coated
  9. Sprinkle black pepper and garnish with spring onions

Notes

  • Use high heat for the best flavor
  • Keep ingredients prepped before cooking
  • Avoid overcooking vegetables to keep them crisp
  • Adjust sauces according to taste
