Ingredients
  

  • 500 g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional for thickening
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, water, and cornstarch
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink
  4. Pour in the sauce and stir well
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens
  6. Season with black pepper
  7. Garnish with green onions
  8. Serve hot and enjoy

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender
  • Adjust the honey for the sweetness level
  • Serve with rice, noodles, or veggies
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick
  • Best enjoyed fresh and hot
