Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced sausage and cook for about 3–4 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. Add broccoli florets and cook for another 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink.
  6. In a small bowl mix honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and vegetables.
  8. Stir and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Use turkey sausage for a lighter option.
  • Adjust honey and soy sauce to balance sweetness and saltiness.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
