Insanely Good Garlic Herb Bread Recipe

This insanely good garlic herb bread is crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and bursting with rich garlic and fresh herb flavor. It’s the perfect side for pasta, soups, or just snacking straight from the tray. Quick, easy, and absolutely irresistible.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread or baguette
  • 4 tbsp butter softened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise
  3. In a bowl mix butter olive oil garlic parsley oregano salt and pepper
  4. Spread the garlic herb mixture evenly over the bread
  5. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top if using
  6. Place bread on baking tray and bake for 10–12 minutes
  7. Broil for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy
  8. Slice and serve warm

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor
  • Add mozzarella for a cheesy version
  • Wrap in foil for a softer bread texture
  • Try adding chili flakes for a spicy kick
  • Best served fresh and warm
