Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets chopped small
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely diced
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds or chopped almonds
  • Dressing:
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry broccoli thoroughly and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, cheddar, red onion, cranberries, and seeds.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour dressing over broccoli mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  6. Stir gently before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.

  • Chop broccoli small for better texture and easier eating.
  • Use Greek yogurt for a lighter dressing option.
