Keto Bacon Cheeseburger Skillet Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup optional
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup pickles chopped
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside
  3. In the same pan, add butter and sauté onion until soft
  4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds
  5. Add ground beef and cook until browned
  6. Season with salt, pepper, mustard, and ketchup
  7. Stir in heavy cream and mix well
  8. Add cooked bacon back into the skillet
  9. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and let it melt
  10. Cook for 2–3 minutes until creamy and combined
  11. Top with pickles and green onions before serving

Notes

  • Drain excess grease if desired for a lighter version
  • Use smoked bacon for a deeper flavor
  • Add mushrooms or jalapeños for extra taste
  • Serve hot as-is or over cauliflower rice
