Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard optional
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat
  2. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until tender
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika
  6. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes
  7. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese
  8. Cook until sauce thickens
  9. Reduce heat and mix in sour cream and mustard
  10. Stir well until creamy and smooth
  11. Garnish with parsley and serve hot

Notes

  • Do not boil after adding sour cream to prevent curdling
  • Serve over cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles
  • Adjust thickness by adding more broth if needed
  • Add extra mushrooms for more texture
