Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles Recipe

These Mongolian ground beef noodles are savory, slightly sweet, and packed with bold flavor. Tender noodles get tossed with seasoned ground beef in a rich soy-garlic sauce. It’s a quick, budget-friendly dinner that comes together fast and tastes better than takeout.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz noodles lo mein or spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for about 1 minute.
  5. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and black pepper.
  6. Stir until the sauce becomes slightly thick and coats the beef.
  7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet.
  8. Toss everything together until well combined.
  9. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  10. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Add broccoli or bell peppers for extra vegetables.
  • Use ground turkey instead of beef for a lighter option.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for extra flavor.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture.
