Method
- Place Oreo cookies in a food processor and crush into fine crumbs.
- Add cream cheese to the crumbs and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll into balls.
- Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate.
- Place back on the tray and sprinkle with crushed Oreos if desired.
- Chill again until the chocolate coating sets.
Notes
- Use white chocolate or dark chocolate for different flavor variations.
- Freeze truffles for 10 minutes before dipping for easier coating.
- Store truffles in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- These truffles also freeze well for up to 2 months.
