Perfect Ground Beef Stuffed Shells Recipe

These ground beef stuffed shells are cheesy, saucy, and pure comfort food. Tender pasta shells stuffed with flavorful beef and creamy cheese, then baked in rich marinara—basically a hug in a baking dish. Perfect for family dinners or when you want something hearty and satisfying.

Ingredients
  

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 300 g ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a pan, cook ground beef with garlic until browned.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Mix cooked beef with ricotta and half of the mozzarella.
  5. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture.
  6. Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Arrange stuffed shells over the sauce.
  8. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
  9. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for extra flavor.
  • Add spinach to the filling for a healthy twist.
  • Cover with foil while baking to prevent drying.
