Ingredients
  

  • 400 g cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups cooked chicken sliced or diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions and drain
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant
  3. Add cooked chicken and stir
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer
  5. Stir in pesto sauce and mix well
  6. Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth
  7. Season with salt and pepper
  8. Toss cooked tortellini into the sauce
  9. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm

Notes

  • Use fresh tortellini for best texture
  • Adjust the pesto amount to taste
  • Add spinach or cherry tomatoes for freshness
  • Do not overcook the sauce to keep it light
  • Best served hot and creamy
