Rich Creamy Bacon Pasta

This rich creamy bacon pasta is a comforting dish loaded with crispy bacon and a silky cream sauce. Tender pasta gets coated in a flavorful blend of garlic, cream, and melted cheese. It’s a simple yet indulgent meal perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.
  2. In a large skillet cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  3. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving a little bacon fat in the skillet.
  4. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Return crispy bacon to the skillet and mix well.
  9. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra texture.
  • Reserve a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
