Smashburger Quesadillas Recipe

These Smashburger Quesadillas combine juicy, crispy-edged burger meat with melty cheese inside a golden, toasted tortilla. It’s the perfect fusion of a classic smashburger and a cheesy quesadilla—crispy on the outside, savory and gooey on the inside. Quick, indulgent, and seriously satisfying.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or American
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pickles optional, sliced
  • Burger sauce or mayonnaise optional

Method
 

  1. Divide ground beef into portions and press thinly onto tortillas
  2. Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and place tortilla beef-side down
  4. Cook for 3–4 minutes until beef is crispy and cooked through
  5. Flip tortilla and sprinkle cheese and onions on top
  6. Fold tortilla in half and cook until cheese melts and tortilla is golden
  7. Remove from pan and let rest briefly
  8. Slice and serve with pickles and sauce if desired

Notes

  • Press beef thin for classic smashburger texture
  • Use a hot pan for crispy edges
  • Add jalapeños for extra heat
  • Serve immediately for the best crunch
  • Customize with your favorite burger toppings
