Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Place chicken breasts evenly in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, apricot preserves, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Stir in paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour sauce evenly over the chicken.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Spoon extra sauce from the pan over the chicken before serving.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for a richer flavor.
- Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a caramelized glaze.
- Add chili flakes if you prefer a little heat.
