Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar until a soft dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Bake the crust for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
In another bowl beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
Mix until the filling becomes creamy and smooth.
Pour the filling over the baked crust.
Bake for another 15–18 minutes until the center is set.
Let cool completely and dust with powdered sugar before slicing.
